GIFTS for order
Everyone Loves Gifts. Gifts are useful marketing tool for motivating customers to buy another products, and thereby increase the current value of an order.
After reaching the specified minimum order value, the customer will be automatically offered gifts in a shopping cart. While inserting the product to shopping cart the customer is displayed the information of remaining amount for obtaining a gift.
To create gifts please follow the steps below:
- sign in into ClickEshop administrator and click [Customers] - [Gift to an order] - [Add]
- enter "Name" (napr. free gift for orders above €50)
- field "Activate coupons" remains marked
- set the validity for gifts "Valid from" and "Valid until" (gifts can be activated also from a certain date in the future)
- "Notes" are used for internal purposes and it is not visible to customers
- Gifts can be set from a certain "Minimum order value"
- and exclude products which "Maximum discount on the product (in %)", exceeds the certain value, e.g.
- 0% means that gifts can be applied for products with no discount
- 20% means that gifts can be applied for products with a discount up to 19.99%
- 100% means that gifts can be applied for all products
- to confirm all the settings press the button "Save"
- if you click again on the gifts details, system allows you to specify additional settings such as list of gifts and relation to the products
List of gifts
As a gift, can be specificed products or product categories. In case of product categories, as gifts will be offered all products in a given category.
If you want to provide gift for free or for discounted price, we recommend to create a separate category containing such gifts e.g. Gifts. You can set this category also as inactive (not displayed to customers).
If you provide as a gift some product from your webshop, it is recommended to create a new product through duplicating functions and add to category Gifts with zero or discounted price.
List of Gifts can be set as follows:
- in gifts detail click the tab "List of gifts"
- click the button [Add] and select the products or product categories that will be offered in the shopping cart as Gifts
- to confirm all the settings press the button "Save"
Relation to products
Gifts can be also linked to a particular products or categories. If the gifts are not linked to specific products or categories, the gifts are offered to customer for any product in the shopping cart in compliance with other settings.
