How to set up filters for the selected categories

Product filters allow your customers to quickly find just that product they are looking for.

1) Create filter:

Please follow the steps below to create a filter: (Our example: store selling tyres)

sign in into ClickEshop administrator and by clicking [Content management] you will get to whole site administration
click on the selected category and press the button [Add Filter] on the left toolbar
system opens a small window:
- click [Add a new filter]
- as "Filter name" enter e.g.: Tyre Type
- as "Value" enter e.g.: summer
- click [add a new value] and in the next line enter e.g.: winter
- to confirm changes it is needed to click button [Save]
- then you will see a list of all created filters
in this way it is possible to create even more filters that will allow your customers to filter products according to e.g.: width, diameter, profile, tread pattern, etc.

2) Add filter to a product category

Created filters it then be assigned to various categories. Please follow the steps below to add filter to a product category:

click on the selected category and press [Add Filter]
select the appropriate filter for this category (marking the checkbox) and press [Add]
assigned filters including its options will be displayed next to categories

3) Add filter to product

Finally, it is necessary to set the filter to each product:

in product detail in a tab [Filter] click [Add filter]
system opens a small window
select desired filter (marking the checkbox next to Filter name)
select a value that corresponds to a given product
to confirm changes it is needed to click button [Save]

The bulk filtering according PRODUCT PRODUCER

Please follow the steps bellow:

sign in into ClickEshop administrator and by clicking [Content management] you will get to whole site administration
click on the selected category and press the button [Add Filter] on the left toolbar
system opens a small window:
- click the button [Add a new filter]
- as "Filter name" enter e.g.: Producer
- click [generate values] button and in the category window you can generate values for the entire eshop or just for the selected categories
- click "Continue"
- in window "Bulk generation of filter values" keep marked "generate values from product producer" and select one of the following options: "keep the original filter values and add new values" or "delete all filter values and add new values"
- click button "Continue" and then you will see a list of producers you have created
- to confirm changes it is needed to click button [Save]
